Due to some misinformation and miscalculation, he was humiliated and fined, which made him put an end to his life. Didn’t the story, in brief, excite you? The Barog town became famous when the Kalka-Shimla railway line was under construction.
Gurkha Fort: Bravery Emblem
The 4500 ft. tall is an absolute masterpiece with a thick forest engirdling it. Amar Singh Thapa (Army chief, Gurkha) constructed the monument. The purpose of building this fort was to fight against the British Army while the Anglo-Nepal war was going on; thus, it became a symbol of bravery and courage. It is now a possession of the Indian Army, serving as a training centre in the Gurkha region.
